Welcome Aboard! Let’s Get Started

Our mission at ConnectAd is to grow your nonprofit’s impact using digital marketing. As we work together towards that goal, we want you to know what you can expect from us. Here is a brief primer.

The Role Of Your Account Manager

Your Account Manager, or AM as we call them, is critical to the success of your digital marketing. They’re responsible for two key functions.

Communication

As your main point-of-contact, you can connect with your AM on matters like new digital marketing tasks, how your campaigns are performing, or questions about billing.

You can expect to hear back from your AM within 1 business day.

Completion of Tasks

All our AMs are experts in multiple fields of digital marketing. That means whether it’s a new Google Ad campaign, or a landing page, often times they’re the ones creating it.

On occasion, your AM will bring in a specialist on the team to assist.

The Next Steps - Onboarding

Schedule The First Call

Once we pair you with an AM, they’ll reach out to coordinate an onboarding call with you. It’s usually a 30-minute meeting to introduce themselves, and gather some information from you.

Build Your Custom Roadmap

On the call, your AM will put together a custom roadmap to outline what we need to set up. While we do as much of the heavy lifting as possible, sometimes we need your help (like sharing account access with us, or making changes on your website). The quicker you can do that, the sooner we can get you benefiting from our work.

Discuss Strategy

On the first call, your AM will also lead you through some strategic planning. We’ll be discovering what your goals are, what success looks like to you, and discussing how to best work together.

About The Task Hour Model

The task hour model was designed for transparency. It’s meant to provide clarity to you & your AM on how much work can be delivered.

Your service package determines the number of task hours you can use each month. Those hours can be used for a variety of tasks, but keep in mind that certain tasks require more hours to complete. Let’s show you an example of what we mean.

Example Starter Package Month (4 Hours)

How The Billing Portal Works

To make it easier to grab your payment receipts, securely update your credit card info, or change your contact info, we set up a billing portal where you can self-manage all of the above. To access it, click on ‘Billing Portal’ at the top of the website’s navigation.

Your username is the email you used when you signed up for our service. Don’t remember it? No problem, just ask your AM. If you’ve forgotten the password, you can reset it.

About Conversion Tracking

What is a conversion?

A conversion is defined as any action a user takes on your website that you deem valuable. For some, this is a donation, for others it’s a registration.

Why track conversions?

Tracking conversions is essential to the success of any digital marketing effort. If you don’t understand what actions are leading to growing your impact, you can’t effectively make the right decision to optimize for them.

How we track conversions

Our team will install and implement platforms such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to track and assess these metrics. Our best practices with this valuable data enables us to optimally manage your account.

The Role Of Your Account Manager

What is an Account Manager?

Each one of our clients is matched with a Dedicated Account Manager (AM), who is both your digital marketing expert and main point-of-contact.

What is their expertise?

Upon joining ConnectAd, all AMs go through an extensive training & certification program before managing nonprofit accounts. Additionally, AMs go through further training each week as part of our culture of learning so that they can continue to develop their skill set.

As a result, AMs become proficient in multiple areas of digital marketing to the benefit of our clients.

A $599 Setup Fee May Apply

1. Able to access an approved Google for Nonprofits account

2. Nonprofit status is verified by Goodstack

3. No compliance or eligibility issues preventing activation of the Google Ad Grant

If you already have the Google Ad Grant but lost administrative access, had your account suspended, or have not actively managed your account within the past year, we will apply this fee towards getting your account back.
