About ConnectAd

Founded in 2010, ConnectAd is a digital marketing firm that works exclusively with nonprofits. We help eligible organizations get a Google Ad Grant, which gives them $10,000 per month in free AdWords advertising. We then use this grant to run AdWords campaigns that generate awareness, promote events, sell products, and more.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for a digital marketer to manage a portfolio of nonprofit accounts. Note that this is a remote position where you work from home.

Key Responsibilities

AdWords Campaign Building:

  • Developing a strategy of what AdWords campaigns to run based on client goals and objectives
  • Taking landing page content and conceptualizing it in terms of keywords
  • Researching keywords to find the most relevant ones with high search traffic
  • Writing relevant ad text for each group of keywords

AdWords Campaign Optimization:

  • Analyzing historical keyword data to develop new iterations
  • Running A/B tests to analyze ad text performance in order to maximize effectiveness
  • Collaborate with clients to build strategy and implement effective solutions

Client Reporting:

Interfacing with clients to report on performance, discuss future campaign opportunities, and address any questions or concerns they have

Qualifications

Need-To-Have

  • Excellent command of written English since you will have to interpret a diverse range of content and conceptualize it in terms of keywords and ad text
  • Acute attention to detail since you will be managing large sets of data (in fact, please mention the keyword “cookie” somewhere in your cover letter)
  • Strong analytical skills in order to make the best optimization decisions based on reported metrics
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
  • Strong oral communication skills and attitude since you will have to interface with clients
  • Demonstrated willingness to take initiative

Nice-To-Have

  • Experience with Excel, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, AdWords Editor, and/or HTML. In lieu of experience, proven ability to quickly learn how to operate new software
  • Client-facing or customer-service experience
  • Experience working with nonprofits
