Founded in 2010, ConnectAd is a digital marketing agency that works exclusively with nonprofits. Our mission is to use digital marketing to help worthwhile causes grow their impact and create positive change in the world.

Our primary service is helping nonprofits secure the Google Grant, which gives nonprofits $10,000 per month in free Google Ads. We then manage those ad campaigns to generate awareness, drive action, and deliver meaningful impact. We’ve worked with over 350 organizations, including groups like Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Digital Marketer to join our tight-knit team. Under the direction of a Senior Account Manager, you will be managing a portfolio of nonprofit accounts, where you can help make a difference to meaningful causes.

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Campaign Building:

  • Developing a strategy of what AdWords campaigns to run based on client goals and objectives
  • Taking landing page content and conceptualizing it in terms of keywords
  • Researching keywords to find the most relevant ones with high search traffic
  • Writing relevant ad text for each group of keywords

Google Ads Campaign Optimization:

  • Analyzing historical keyword data to develop new iterations
  • Running A/B tests to analyze ad text performance in order to maximize effectiveness
  • Collaborate with clients to build strategy and implement effective solutions

Post-Click Optimization:

  • Writing content and designing landing pages that maximize for conversion rates

Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager:

  • Setting up Google Analytics accounts and analyzing the data to generate deeper insights
  • Setting up Google Tag Manager tags that enable more complex tracking capabilities

Client Management:

  • Interfacing with clients to report on performance, discuss future campaign opportunities, and address any questions or concerns they have



  • Excellent command of written English to interpret a diverse range of content 
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of data (please mention the keyword “cookie” at the end of your cover letter)
  • Strong analytical skills to make optimization decisions based on reported metrics
  • Proven work ethic and the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to take initiative
  • Adept at learning quickly and love for tinkering with technology
  • Experience or desire to work with nonprofits


  • Experience with Excel, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor, and/or HTML/CSS. In lieu of experience, proven ability to quickly learn how to operate new software
  • Client-facing or customer-service experience
  • Experience working with nonprofits


A salary range between $42,000 – $50,000 based on experience.
